Humans follow so many beliefs because they have been taught or because they are cultural.

Our limited beliefs are thoughts and ideas that we tell ourselves and limit us from achieving what we want.

Sometimes it is as simple as:

“In life, we need to work hard to get what we want.

“Spiritual people can’t have abundance in money.

“You don’t work from your passion.

“Only people well educated can get higher positions in society.

All those beliefs prevent you from pushing yourself. By repeating, you believe.

Some of them, you learn from your childhood, you grew up with certain beliefs, and they become part of you. Time for clearing limiting beliefs.

We need to break from the beliefs that limit us.

How to break free from our beliefs?

Usually, it happens through an experience that someone has lived. It could be an accident or a health issue. When someone learns, there is not much to do. You just need to learn to live with it. It is usually when a person wants to break those beliefs by proving they are wrong. Some people can get better in those situations.

You cannot change this fast, because you’ve been living all your life with those beliefs. It takes time to change your behavior and your thoughts.

For example, you want to be the Operations Director in your company, and you have been in a low-level position in the company for years. You will need to change your mindset by telling yourself you can do it. You will need to put in some work and probably take some training or education on your own time. It might take time, but the motivation will help you do it. 

You don’t need people around to tell you what you can and can’t do. Nothing is impossible to those who seek and make an effort.

You may find many books about positive affirmations to help you.

For example, instead of saying “I am not capable of”, or “I can’t” replace it with a positive affirmation such as “I am capable of”, “I am willing to try”, etc.

You don’t need to follow beliefs if it doesn’t resonate with you. You have the right to change your life and your beliefs. Otherwise, you’re sabotaging yourself by refraining yourself because of those beliefs. Stop comparing yourself to others and ask yourself if you choose another way, how can it affect you negatively?

Don’t be afraid to try before claiming you can’t do it or it is not for you. Be open to possibilities, another way than your beliefs.
